To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position


You must also be able to work 1 of 3 schedules:



  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM
  • Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM
  • Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM


What You'll Do:



  • Process new patient registrations and manage prescription data entry, adhering to strict privacy guidelines.
  • Handle patient prescription requests, including entering refill orders and resolving data entry exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot missing prescription information and accurately interpret medical abbreviations.
  • Operate and maintain automated machinery, sort medications, and manage inventory flow with a strong focus on quality control.
  • Accurately count, fill, label, pack, and ship prescriptions.
  • Resolve rejected insurance claims by gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing.
  • Provide essential support to senior pharmacy staff within the facility and at other locations.
  • Identify and communicate operational issues to senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Research and resolve complex billing issues and escalated patient concerns.
  • Escalate prescription-related questions to senior pharmacy staff for expert interpretation or processing guidance.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician communications.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic PC skills, including starting and shutting down computers, using a mouse, navigating programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing online information.
  • Basic search engine skills, including opening browsers, typing URLs, using search engines, bookmarking sites, navigating with back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms.
  • Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents).
  • Willingness and ability to perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness and ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible shift.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • PTCB or ExCPT certification.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
  • Experience providing customer service.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20.42 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
