Your Expertise:



  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems.
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Blueprint reading
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of plant and machine safety
  • Some basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate custodial operation-related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand and power tools
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications

Your Challenge:



  • Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuild) on all machines
  • Work with QA, MFG and ENG to maintain trouble-free equipment
  • Support with scheduling PM, reading reports, diagrams and drawings
  • Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines
  • Able to work with complex Numerical Control (NC) machines up to & including 5 Axis
  • Knowledge of OEM machine controllers
  • Perform machine leveling and alignment on all machines
  • Pull and replace machine linear guides and ball screws
  • Identify and replace parts as necessary
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
  • Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
  • General facilities maintenance
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
  • Work based on sense of urgency with machine down conditions
  • In conjunction with production team, will support continuous improvement of development of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • Devise methods of altering machinery and equipment to improve operating characteristics
  • Fabrication and rebuilding of various mechanical assemblies
  • Check machine accuracy and adjust accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned


Education Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
