The Neuropsychiatry Clinical Pharmacist serves as a medication therapy expert specializing in the treatment of patients with neurologic and psychiatric conditions. This pharmacist collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize pharmacotherapy, improve patient outcomes, and ensure safe and effective medication use. The role involves both direct patient care and population health initiatives, with a focus on complex psychopharmacology and neurologic disease management, including substance use disorders. Work assignments will be varied and may include acute care patient focused areas, the emergency department, county sites, and emergency response teams, to name a few. Under general supervision, responsible for provision and documentation of medications and medication-related services to patients, according to standards established by the Department of Pharmacy. Serve as preceptor to pharmacy residents and students as assigned. Participate in Medical Center and Departmental committees and promote institution-wide medication use policy. Key Responsibilities:

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $190,488 - $225,337 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $91.23 - $107.92 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
