The primary purpose of this position is to support financial and billing operations by accurately processing invoices, managing purchase order billing, and maintaining utility billing data within financial systems. This role ensures timely and accurate revenue cycles, supports administrative operations through document management, and contributes to overall data integrity within the department.

Minimum Experience/Education

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

Department Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with campus partners
  • High-speed and accurate data entry skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet navigation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly in document management and digital recordkeeping

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, billing, or financial operations
  • Experience processing invoices and managing purchase orders
  • Familiarity with financial or enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft Financials
  • Experience with AiM (AssetWorks) system or similar work order/billing platforms
  • Prior experience in administrative support, including mail processing, scanning, and document archiving
