GENERAL FUNCTION

This position will be responsible for supervising PM Technicians remotely.

• Provide annual maintenance on several types and models of coating equipment
• Testing, troubleshooting, modification on all coating equipment
• Support all ELOA Base, Partner, IDD and Retail coating centers.
• Training of lab personal in all aspects related to Essilor Coating production

This position will also provide ongoing technical support and continuous process improvements

to lab with installed Essilor Coating products

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Specialize in the preventative maintenance and production support of assigned Coating equipment.
• Troubleshoot remote labs via telephone or site visits.
• Maintain maintenance records by lab site.
• Assist with developing of maintenance procedures for all new equipment.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations for development and implementation of products and processes.
• Track test equipment usage and maintenance/calibration requirements
• Assist all departments within ZTS as needed.
• Represent Essilor in a professional manner.

Cleary communicate progress, status, and issues to Coating Maintenance Manager.

Note that the general work days for this position is Friday thru Tuesday as PM's are typically performed over the weekends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
• Proven experience in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
• 3-5 years experience in coating processes and equipment desired
• Consistent good performance in current job
• Ability to work well with others
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively

with multiple stake holders

• Strong aptitude with personal computers and MS office
• Strong mechanical, electrical and plumbing aptitude
• Ability to travel 75% of the time
• Must be proven self-starter and be able to work without direct supervision
