Responsible for coordination Engineering projects from conception to completion. Participate in the planning for the future growth of systems and research for new applications or new technology. Work with engineering in the planning stage for production related equipment. Responsible for life cycle management, production line efficiency, line up-time, and best of breed practices Manage and/or support projects as assigned to meet target dates and complete projects within capital projections, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records Work with and support suppliers and contractors ensuring alignment with project goals and standards (safety) Act as a resource to assist other instrument and controls engineers and maintenance, including training or mentoring technician team members if applicable. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and propose enhancements to control systems and processes.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Must possess knowledge of the following engineering disciplines: programming, instrumentation, hardware, PLCs, IPC, software. Must be able to manage project execution activities to completion including; design coordination, scheduling, tracking, reporting, commissioning/validation, and ongoing maintenance requirements. Must possess computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office 365. Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other Viatris departments and demonstrate the ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems dynamically.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $55,000.00 - $105,000.00 USD.
