General Summary of Position: The Grant Project Manager is responsible for providing support with all aspects of grant administration, including pre and post award management, resource management, and reporting to Principal Investigators within the Gerontology Institute within the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The Grant Project Manager works directly with Principal Investigators on matters involving preparing and submitting grants, monitoring and managing grant accounts, payroll, and purchasing. This includes activities such as record keeping within active accounts, creating requisitions and monitoring purchase orders, entering hourly payroll hours, working with Human Resources for hires/rehires of employees, planning for fiscal accounts and preparing fiscal reports. The Grant Project Manager, will engage and pre- and post-award management, and liaison with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP). This role carries out this work using University systems including Kuali, Summit, ByWays and other software products. The Grant Project Manager works in direct collaboration with, the Director of Finance, Grants and Operations, who leads all grant and fiscal activities within the Gerontology Institute and serves as the primary liaison to ORSP. This is a grant funded position with a current end date of July 31, 2026 subject to renewal annually through July 21, 2030. The position will continue through all funded years.
