POSITION SUMMARY: The PGY2 Pharmacy resident will receive focused training in a number of domains related to pharmacy practice - clinical service, hospital practice, teaching and education, research, drug policy development, and leadership. Training will be under the direct guidance and mentorship of pharmacists experienced in their area of practice. The overall goal of a PGY2 residency is for the resident to develop proficiency in the aforementioned domains, gain invaluable experience in the respective area of practice, and develop the requisite tools needed to be an independent and successful practitioner. The PGY2 resident will complete a month-long orientation period. Thereafter, the resident will be evaluated after each completed rotation, after each completed requirement, and quarterly throughout the year. Please provide letter of intent including goals.
