Scale House Attendant

Nye County Landfill, aWasteConnections company, is looking to hire a safety consciousScale House Attendantto join our team inPahrump, NV!

The schedule will be Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM.Starting pay will be $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting customersas they enter the landfill, directing them where to go

• Confirming type of material in each load, taking measurements of truck beds to ensure accurate load size to process payment

• Processing paymentand data entry

• Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing

• General site cleanup as needed

• Friendlycustomer service

• Other manual laborer duties as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in acustomer servicetype position

• Cash handlingexperience

• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Experience operating equipment is a plus

• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
