Job DescriptionThe CMS Business Process and Operations organization is hiring a Business Analyst responsible for project management and business support. This position will support CMS Operations and VCS Strategy Leadership Team, reporting to the Senior Director, Business Process and Operations. We are looking for professional and reliable applicants who have strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills. This position is a hybrid role based in San Francisco. Responsibilities This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. QualificationsBasic Qualifications *2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) Preferred Qualifications * 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) * Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) * Experience with copilot and AI tools * Ability to analyze complex information, work in a fluid environment where assignments are time sensitive and can change frequently. * Keen awareness to help anticipate issues before they arise and ability to take initiative in a helpful manner. * Exceptional project management capabilities * Skilled at effectively and successfully responding to problem situations and prioritizing issues * Highly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter; resourceful and knows how to find a way * Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions internally and externally * Capability to understand the broader organization, build relationships and know how to get things done quickly and efficiently Additional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
