General Information: JMU's Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services (IHHS) invites applications for a Program Coordinator for the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program. This position is responsible for coordinating the planning, scheduling and implementation of the SRAE Program, funded by the Virginia Department of Health. The JMU SRAE initiative is a collaborative effort that emphasizes both abstinence, communication, education and career success, healthy life skills and adolescent development in order to significantly reduce the number of teen pregnancies in the Harrisonburg and Page County area of Virginia. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate implementation of SRAE programming. This includes attending bi-monthly funder calls, reviewing staffing levels for programming, oversight on non-personnel budgets, conducting weekly staff meetings and oversight of staff assignments at each Qualifications: - Knowledge of adolescent development and best practices in teen pregnancy prevention.
