DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position provides clerical support to the Education & Incentives Team within the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). Work involves performing routine clerical tasks such as document processing, data entry, correspondence preparation, and records maintenance to support the administration of the Military Family Education Program (MFEP) and Educational Assistance Program (EAP). All work is completed in accordance with established procedures and confidentiality requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Temporary, full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- No benefits with this position.
- Work hours are 7:00am to 3:15pm, Monday-Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.46 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
