*Description*
As a Data Center Technician at a major client you serve as one of many primary resolvers for your support team skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members. You possess basic to intermediate system administration skills and work autonomously to resolve server issues. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to take direction when given paying attention to all details involved. You work well with a team. You are receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required for the position. Job Requirements and Working Conditions: Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years of experience in data center operations or related technical field - Basic networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP Physical Environment and Safety Protocols: - Must successfully pass through metal detection equipment daily - Required to work in data center environments with variable temperature conditions - Temperature fluctuations dependent on seasonal changes and external weather conditions - Work areas may contain environmental allergens and airborne particles including dust Physical Requirements: - Must successfully pass through metal detection equipment daily - Ability to lift up to 40 pounds - Standing/walking for extended periods - Ability to climb ladders and work at heights - Capability to work in various environmental conditions - Temperature fluctuations dependent on seasonal changes and external weather conditions - Work areas may contain environmental allergens and airborne particles including dust - Ability to adapt to varying temperature conditions within the data center environment - Ability to follow required security protocols including metal detection screening Important Notice: Candidates requiring reasonable accommodation should discuss their needs during the application process. Dive Deep DCO techs must understand power paths, cabling standards, hardware layouts, environmental telemetry, and rootcause behaviors. The job relies heavily on digging into racklevel problems, cabling issues, power anomalies, and equipment behavior at a detailed level. 2. Bias for Action Data centers run 24/7 and SLAdriven. ISPlayer infrastructure issues-such as power faults, cabling failures, thermal excursions, or alarms-must be addressed quickly. Fast, decisive action prevents customer impact and keeps the facility stable. 3. Insist on the Highest Standards ISP physical layer work (cabling, labeling, patching, rack power installs, inspections) requires precision, cleanliness, accuracy, and compliance. High standards ensure reliability, safety, and audit readiness across the data hall. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Boardman, OR. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.50/hr.
