The Business Intelligence Analyst II plays a critical role in gathering, transforming, and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions across Client Operations. This position blends technical execution with stakeholder engagement, building scalable analytics solutions and translating findings into clear, compelling data narratives.

The role involves full project lifecycle management with minimal oversight, including data manipulation, dashboard development, and report generation. Analysts work closely with leaders, users, and cross-functional teams to communicate requirements and deliver value-added solutions. Responsibilities include applying industry-standard Business Intelligence methodologies, ensuring adherence to data governance protocols, and managing the integrity, efficiency, and availability of data.

Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in BI tools and an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for facilitating discussions, organizing workstreams, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. This role requires familiarity with project management concepts and agile methodologies to execute activities that meet project objectives.

Specific Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Design and implement scalable Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as Domo, SQL and Excel.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs and requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
  • Determine data requirements and gather, synthesize, and transform data from multiple sources in compliance with data governance standards.
  • Generate and distribute well-structured datasets, dashboards, and reports tailored to business needs and aligned to project requirements.
  • Create compelling data-driven narratives that translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor data integrity, efficiency, and availability.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of business intelligence reporting and data handling processes and best practices.


Project Management & Support:

  • Collaborate with business owners, leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify and document project requirements and data needs.
  • Manage and execute full project lifecycles including data acquisition, data wrangling, modeling, analysis, and visualization.
  • Establish and manage project plans, delivery timelines, and sprint presentations.
  • Proactively communicate progress, challenges, and risks to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage individual workload including defining and prioritizing assigned tasks across multiple projects.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Provide training and documentation for generated reports and dashboards.
  • Engage with and support other Business Intelligence team members as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Clear understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Solid understanding of data governance standards and best practices for maintaining data integrity and compliance.
  • Proven ability in dashboard and analytical report development.
  • Ability to analyze datasets and deliver clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage full project lifecycles and break down assigned projects into reasonable scheduled deliverables.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Must be highly organized and have strong time management skills.
  • Must be assertive, confident, self-motivating, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team depending on project requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple simultaneous assignments and meet established task deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve problems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated analytical mindset along with extensive experience and understanding of Customer Care business practices, data, processes, and terminology may be considered in lieu of previous business intelligence reporting experience.
  • Previous Domo experience.
  • Agile Development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience working with Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Exposure to other Business Intelligence reporting tools and technologies.
  • Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with the ability to apply these skills to enhance reporting capabilities.

USD 74,000.00 - 111,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $74,000.00 - $111,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
