Grow your technical career with Agiliti as a Biomedical Equipment Technician supporting healthcare teams across the NYC region. In this role, you'll ensure medical equipment is safe, reliable, and functioning to manufacturer specifications.
What You'll Do
  • Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair a variety of medical devices
  • Complete accurate documentation for billing and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with clinical staff about equipment functionality and features
  • Meet company and customer quality standards and service metrics
  • Maintain accurate parts and equipment inventory
  • Ship and receive medical equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area
  • Assist with patienthandling equipment training
  • Follow HIPAA and all safety protocols
  • Participate in oncall rotation and travel as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology
    • Alternatives: equivalent military training or CBET certification
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with safe driving record
  • Basic computer skills; understanding of networked equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays, emergency oncall)
  • Ability to lift/push up to 75 lbs and perform frequent physical activity
  • Willingness to travel periodically for business needs

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown.
