What You Will Do to Change Lives A Peer Recovery Coach at this 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) partners with a clinician and responds to mental health and substance use crisis anywhere in the community to individuals of any age. They use personal lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide immediate, community-based crisis support. They work alongside clinicians to de-escalate and stabilize individuals in crisis, build trust, and connect individuals to services, promoting recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care. This position requires a Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification and 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services. Additionally, this position may be periodically assigned to take calls and screen calls for a mobile team's response. Must have the ability to perform in high-stress situations and have a commitment to trauma-informed care. Shifts Available: Full-Time | NOC | Shifts: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM | Days: Tuesday- Saturday Expected starting wage range is $22.17 - $27.08. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management.Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field in San Joaquin County."
