Job Description




As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver PT in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you may use a company or personal vehicle to move between areas of the property. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management processes in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, reporting, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
