Job Description




As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols and property checks, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, manage access points, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. Bring your valid driver's license as you move between areas as needed. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and operate building systems and security-related equipment such as CCTV and access control, documenting observations and reporting concerns through required channels.
  • Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communication, supporting property management and client representatives with security-related information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
