The Basics You Need

• 5 years of experience in electronic assembly + IPC 600
• Experience working with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems preferred
• Strongattentiontodetailandqualitystandards.
• Abilitytoreadandinterpretengineeringdrawingsandspecifications.
• Abilitytofollowinstructionsprovidedinwritten,oral,diagram,orscheduleform.
• Strongcommunicationandteamworkskills.

What a Strong Shift Looks Like

• Inspect incoming printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to engineering drawings and IPC-A-600 standards.
• Perform inspection of incoming electronic and mechanical components against print specifications and documented requirements.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections on electronic assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Identify, segregate, and document defective components for rework, salvage, or scrap.
• Use microscopes, magnifiers, and visual inspection tools to detect defects and ensure product quality.
• Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment, analyze failures, and record discrepancies.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to AOI programmers to improve inspection programs and PCB models.
• Operate X-ray inspection equipment to verify product compliance with quality standards.
• Support data collection and quality reporting for process monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
