Must be located in the DC Metro Area.
Summary: This position is responsible for evaluating customer needs and requirements, recommending innovative solutions and designs, and assist business development and sales personnel in identifying and closing profitable business opportunities focused on Information Technology customer initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Field Sales and Business Development in the discovery, presenting, and bidding of solutions that include Cloud solutions.
- Technical strengths in multiple domains such as Virtualized workloads and solutions, ML/AI Systems, cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, microservices, serverless), and networking technologies.
- Strengths in presenting to small audiences on topics such as Information Technology solutions in networking, zero trust solutions, and other innovative technologies.
- Provide input to bid and proposal strategy and decision making. Position will require ability to design and architect solutions, provide written and graphical representation of solutions as well as responding to questions associated with recommended solutions.
- Responsible for providing customer demonstrations and webinar presentations promoting Information Technology solutions.
- Candidate will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics training provided by Four Points.
- Candidate will review, acknowledge, and participate in any US government and regulatory security training periodically as required in their role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Industry certifications on cloud and virtualization technologies at associate or professional technology level at time of hire.
- Previous background in cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking and/or data analytics preferred.
- Ability to travel and visit with customers -20-30% CONUS travel expected
- Must be able to go through Federal Government background checks, TS/SCI cleared preferred.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal day-to-day oversight.
- Must be able to independently identify issues and problems and provide recommended solutions to overcome those problems.
Education/Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in related field plus 5 years of experience and/or training, OR
- Associate Degree and 7+ years of experience and/or training, OR
- 8+ years of experience and/or training, OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Must have at least one (1) active industry certification in cloud, networking, virtualization or other relevant certifications that are transferable at time of hire.
