Job Summary: The Regional Philanthropic Consultant manages a nonprofit book of business focused on larger clients, delivering specialized philanthropic advice and solutions across regional markets. This role partners with Institutional Advisors (IAs) on new nonprofit acquisition and client expansion, and collaborates with Special Service Consultant to provide custodial, reporting, and other specialized services. The Consultant is responsible for administering and advising on complex gifting strategies while also managing less complex nonprofit relationships in partnership with Institutional Advisors. Essential Job Functions
- Manage and retain a portfolio of large nonprofit clients, providing tailored philanthropic advice and solutions.
- Expand client relationships through consultative engagement and proactive solutions.
- Oversee existing complex nonprofit servicing relationships, coordinating with Institutional Advisors (IA's).
- Serve as one of three Regional Philanthropic Consultant with regional market responsibilities, focusing on nonprofit client needs and opportunities.
- Serve as regional sales support and client advisory support with travel required as needed.
- Partner with Institutional Advisors on new nonprofit acquisition and client expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate with Institutional Advisor and Market Leadership to deliver content/events to build brand and develop advocacy amongst NFP leadership, board members and COIs within local markets.
- Build out relationships with KPB Relationship Managers (RM's), assisting in raising nonprofit acumen and guide RM interactions with nonprofit boards, committees and nonprofit consultants.
- Serve as a mentor to others on the team, further enhancing their consulting and advisory capabilities.
- Responsible for delivering (and administering) philanthropic advice to nonprofit clients in the markets, including guidance on complex gifting strategies.
- Partner with Special Service Consultants to deliver custodial, reporting, and other specialized services for nonprofit clients.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Conduct regular client reviews and enhance service delivery identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure all client relationships are managed in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret legal documents for client relationships and apply sound fiduciary judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in working with nonprofits providing philanthropic advice, trust/custody administration, or related roles.
- Experience managing complex nonprofit relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and problem resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of charitable giving vehicles, nonprofit servicing, and related services.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Strong PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Analytical Ability:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing complex nonprofit relationships.
- Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Compliance:Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to manage risk appropriately.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
