Junior Automotive Component & Detail Designer (Research)

Mission:

Contribute to the research, design, and development of automotive components and detailed parts
(interior and/or exterior), with a strong focus on innovation, usability, and integration of AI-driven
design tools.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Design automotive components and detailed elements (interior trims, controls, lighting, interfaces,
    exterior details)
  • Conduct design research on trends, user behavior, materials, and emerging technologies
  • Develop creative concepts aligned with brand identity and product strategy
  • Use AI-assisted tools for ideation, concept generation, visualization, and design optimization
  • Produce sketches, 2D/3D models, renderings, and presentations
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, CMF, and R&D teams
  • Integrate technical, ergonomic, regulatory, and industrial constraints
  • Participate in design reviews and iterative development processes


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Design, Product Design, Transportation Design, or equivalent
  • Experience using AI tools for concept generation, visual exploration, and rapid ideation
  • Understanding of AI-assisted workflows in design (generative design, image generation, data-driven insights)
  • Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies applied to mobility and product design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail, form development, and component design
  • Sketching (hand and digital)
  • 3D modeling tools (Alias, Rhino, Blender, Catia, SolidWorks or similar)
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and automotive constraints
  • Sensitivity to UX, ergonomics, and CMF
