As a Security Officer - Unarmed Walking Rounds in Brooklyn, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with property teams and visitors, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures and carrying out security-related duties and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with directing visitors and deliveries, and help maintain orderly traffic flow in parking and arrival areas per site policy.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and promptly escalate maintenance or facility concerns that may impact operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
