Security Officer - Main Lobby Driver

As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor cameras and alarm activity, and document security-related events with clear communication. You will be a visible, customer-focused presence that helps support a welcoming environment while following site procedures and collaborating with the team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements.
• Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary badges and/or visitor logs as required, verify appointments, and notify appropriate personnel of arrivals.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or duress notifications when assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and contacting emergency services and/or management as directed.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
