Security Officer - Dispatch Driver

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor activity, coordinate security-related responses, and communicate clearly with officers and site teams. You will help maintain smooth operations through routine checks, documentation, and professional customer service, supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor alarm, CCTV and/or access control systems; receive calls for service and dispatch officers or resources as needed; maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and communications with site leadership and/or public responders per post orders.
• Support security-related communications across the location using radios, phones and/or computer-based dispatch tools; relay key updates and track officer status and assignments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and/or coordinate patrol coverage and checks as directed by site procedures. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
