Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Somerset, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and support a positive customer experience while using technology for reporting as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor gates, entrances, and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or authorization, and maintain accurate logs for entries, exits, and site activity.
• Complete daily reports and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client contact, and assist with basic customer inquiries and directions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
