This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

This position requires extraordinary attention to detail, anticipatory thinking, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams in a dynamic environment.

As a member of the executive support team, you will help establish the standards and best practices that define excellence in executive assistance at Blue Origin. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience supporting C-suite executives, exceptional judgment in handling sensitive matters, and the strategic mindset to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges before they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Partnership

* Serve as a strategic partner and Associate Executive Assistant to the CEO, working closely with the primary Senior Executive Assistant to ensure continuity, coverage, and operational excellence.

* Act as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders, representing the executive office with professionalism and discretion.

* Maintain situational awareness of CEO priorities, commitments, and deliverables to proactively support decision-making and execution.

Calendar & Schedule Management

* Co-manage a complex, high-volume executive calendar, ensuring schedules are aligned with priorities, deadlines, and strategic objectives.

* Anticipate scheduling conflicts, time constraints, and shifting priorities, proactively proposing solutions and adjustments.

* Coordinate meetings across multiple time zones and stakeholder groups, ensuring preparation and follow-through.

Communication & Documentation

* Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, presentations, and documents, including materials of a confidential or sensitive nature.

* Ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with executive intent and organizational standards.

* Track action items and follow up on commitments to ensure timely completion.

Execution & Problem Solving

* Independently manage tasks and critical components of larger deliverables, driving them to completion with minimal oversight.

* Apply strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

* Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions in dynamic situations.

Collaboration & Culture

* Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams, fostering trust, collaboration, and a culture of inclusion.

* Partner effectively with the existing Senior Executive Assistant to ensure alignment, coverage, and shared ownership of executive support.

* Contribute to continuous improvement of executive office processes, systems, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

* 7+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, preferably in a fast-paced, complex, or mission-driven environment.

* Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership, with the ability to operate as a second chair or shared-support model.

* Proven ability to manage highly complex calendars, competing priorities, and rapidly changing schedules with sound judgment and discretion.

* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs, identify risks, and proactively solve problems before they escalate.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting executive-level correspondence and confidential materials.

* High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information and confidential matters.

* Advanced proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., calendar systems, document management, communication platforms).

* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across teams and levels, contributing to a culture of trust, inclusion, and collaboration.

* Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and partner closely with another Senior Executive Assistant to ensure seamless executive support.

* Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments, managing ambiguity, and exercising sound judgment with limited direction.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $49.79 - $69.70

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

  • Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
