Description

The temporary Senior Manager, Corporate Development will be a key contributor to shaping the company's growth strategy in the semiconductor industry through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. This role requires deep understanding of semiconductor markets, technologies, and market dynamics. The individual will facilitate end-to-end transaction processes, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning, while collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Strategic Market Analysis



  • Monitor semiconductor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify strategic opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.


Deal Execution



  • Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential transactions.
  • Manage due diligence processes across functional teams (BUs, technology, manufacturing, sales & marketing, finance, legal, etc.).
  • Prepare and present investment findings and recommendations to executive leadership.


Integration Planning



  • Be an integral contributor to the integration planning and execution process by developing and executing comprehensive integration strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This role aims to ensure seamless alignment of people, processes, systems, and culture to achieve deal objectives and maximize value creation.
  • Develop detailed integration plans across functional areas (BUs, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Sales, etc.) and define integration milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Partner with business leaders and functional teams to ensure alignment on integration planning and implementation.


Stakeholder Engagement



  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business units, technology, operations, and business support functions to support strategic activities.
  • Coordinate with external advisors (investment banks, legal counsel, technical consultants) to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical background in semiconductors preferred.
* 12+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with semiconductor exposure.
* Proven track record of executing M&A transactions in technology or semiconductor sectors.
* Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including experience with IP and technology assets.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to navigate complex structural, technical and operational considerations in semiconductor deals.

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, design ecosystems, and supply chain.
* Experience with cross-border transactions and regulatory considerations (e.g., export controls, CFIUS).
* Familiarity with integration planning for technology-driven businesses.
