Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Management Analyst to support the Executive Office of a Customs and Border Protection customer. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate travel and trade.

This position is located in Washington, DC, and cannot be worked remotely.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

    Provide direct support to Executive Leadership; maintain program plans and charters and coordinate meetings
  • Support client and team meetings by tracking actions and deliverables
  • Conduct studies and analyses to support the organization; evaluate policies and implement product/process improvements
  • Manage and report on cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals in support of the organization
  • Develop artifacts enabling the organization to respond to internal and external inquiries
  • Manage and execute team communications, support Knowledge Management and Records Management tasks, and assist in task order management and execution
  • Manage, track, and respond to tasks assigned to MSD through ICB and BP Taskings.
  • Manage and track external source requests.
  • Generate memos, issue papers, and other general correspondence.
  • Assist and facilitate with MSD events in addition to onboarding, offboarding, and awards.
  • Document standardization, template development, standard operating procedures etc.
  • Collate data from multiple sources and analyze trends to inform decision-making
  • Perform periodic quality control activities, such as peer review of documents


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Previous work with DHS or CBP is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, finance, information management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Strong working knowledge of Planner, Power BI and other MS Apps
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in project management support preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team to support our client's success
