Job Title: Part-Time Prep Cook Location: Hartford, WI Schedule: Part-time; 2-6 shifts per month. Primarily day shift M-F, some weekends. Schedule is provided 1 month in advance Pay: $18.00 / hour Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Prep Cook to support our catering operations. This role focuses on food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen to ensure high-quality service for catered events. Key Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning foods Assist with basic cooking tasks under the direction of the Chef or Kitchen Lead Follow recipes, prep lists, and food production schedules Label, date, and properly store food items Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, equipment, and workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Assist with packing and staging food for catered events as needed Support kitchen team with additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Will train the right candidate Top of Form Bottom of Form
