The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Dermatology is seeking a Clinical Faculty position for clinical care in a professional practice setting, as well as teaching of resident providers in clinic and inpatient setting. Rank is commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions

  • Patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, Outpatient Clinic, in-office procedures, and on call coverage.
  • Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the Department and College by supporting the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.
  • Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.
  • Encompassing an active role in departmental fellowship programs resident teaching (e.g. evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, and completing required evaluations), and presentations at the local, regional and national levels.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), D.O. or an equivalent degree, resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Candidates must have completed an accredited Dermatology Residency.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License.
  • An ideal candidate will have a past track record of academic excellence and relevant clinical experience in Dermatology.
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
  • Candidates must have completed a Mohs Surgery fellowship.
