As a Talent Acquisition Director, you are a trusted advisor to business and HR leaders across corporate functions, translating workforce and business strategy into scalable talent attraction and hiring solutions. With a strong focus on market intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder partnership, you lead teams to deliver high-quality, diverse talent pipelines and an effective, compliant end-to-end recruitment process that enables the organisation to meet today's needs and build for the future

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize a broad range of recruiting and sourcing tools and services, including creative and proactive use of internet sourcing, networking, market research, and database mining.

  • Design and execute innovative candidate sourcing strategies, with emphasis on hard-to-fill roles.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing recruiting team; manage capacity, workflow, and resource allocation to meet business needs.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and functional leaders to respond to staffing requirements; develop and manage effective end-to-end processes to attract and hire high-quality, best-fit talent across a wide range of roles.

  • Serve as a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, contributing to TA strategy development, operating priorities, change initiatives, and enterprise-wide delivery standards.

  • Drive strong stakeholder management across HR and the business by setting clear expectations, aligning on service delivery and timelines, influencing decision-making, and proactively resolving escalations.

  • Ensure recruiting processes align with compliance, compensation practices, and EEO/OFCCP guidelines (as applicable) and support equitable hiring outcomes.

  • Drive consistent use of standard recruiting practices that support the development of diverse candidate slates and high-quality hiring decisions.

  • Support workforce planning efforts and assist with retention-related programs and activities in partnership with HR and business leaders.

  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and externally with community partners, vendors, and other talent channels.

  • Define, track, analyze, and report talent acquisition metrics; develop practical dashboards and reporting methods to monitor outcomes and improve performance.

  • Serve as a strategic recruiting SME by staying current on industry trends, best practices, legal developments, technology advancements, and benchmarking insights; advise leaders accordingly.

  • Research, recommend, and implement improvements to the hiring process, including skills testing and other selection/assessment tools.

  • Ensure recruitment files and documentation are completed according to compliance standards, including required evaluations and supporting documentation.

  • Travel up to 25% as required.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required; minimum of seven (7) years of comprehensive recruiting experience demonstrating increased responsibility. Experience utilizing a variety of recruiting vehicles and sources such as internet, specific websites, and diversity sources; experience using innovative tools and techniques to find viable candidates; proven supervisory experience in a staffing environment necessary. A combination of agency and corporate experience preferred; project management skills and experience with recruiting software systems required; experience and history of successfully leading major projects and new initiatives.

    1. Ability to manage a recruiting staff through a large-scale recruitment initiative in a fast-paced environment
    2. Ability to manage full-life cycle recruitment processes
    3. Ability to establish and maintain credibility with all levels of management; ability to build strong relationships
    4. Excellent consultative skills in recruiting support
    5. Strong negotiation skills for interacting with management, candidates and vendors
    6. Ability to collaborate effectively with others, implementing HR staffing processes, strategies and programs
    7. Knowledge of HR practices such as OFCCP, AAP, Recruitment, and Compensation
    8. Strong conceptual thinking, analytical, and planning skills
    9. Excellent presentation skills
    10. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
    11. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment
    12. Excellent customer service skills
    13. Ability to multi-task; versatile
    14. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
    15. Ability to resolve associate issues effectively and efficiently
