This is what it takes to work for us.

• 7+ years purchasing experience in the structural steel industry (required)
• Ability to read structural steel and erection drawings
• Strong negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills
• Review drawings for material grade and finish accuracy
• Manage bolt lists, stock checks, and high-strength bolt orders
• Purchase Tekla materials coded "P" and issue PO numbers
• Obtain pricing from multiple vendors and negotiate availability
• Verify quotes, sales orders, and documentation accuracy
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Detail Managers, and Erectors
• Ensure timely ordering to support testing, MTRs, and field needs
