Integrated Master Scheduler

The Opportunity:

On our team, you'll build and review integrated master schedules and assess schedule health for projects or programs in a federal agency. You'll present recommendations to both the contract team and senior clients while clearly articulating technical and schedule status, programmatic and budget context, and relevant findings and recommendations. You'll participate in a collaborative team on a dynamic client project while overcoming data constraints with creative problem-solving and data analysis capabilities. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Project and applying project scheduling concepts, including critical path evaluation
  • 1+ years of experience conducting Schedule Risk Assessments using statistical modeling techniques
  • Experience establishing, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting project, program, or portfolio performance metrics
  • Experience distilling complex ideas into succinct presentations and visualizations for briefing results to senior program leadership
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as applied to scheduling or schedule analysis
  • Ability to present to senior-level clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or systems engineering, or construction site scheduling
  • Experience running Joint Confidence Level Assessments
  • Experience creating macros using Microsoft VBA
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management concepts, terminology, and metrics
  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situationswhile successfully managing client relationships and deadlines
  • Ability to critically assess information and communicate priority findings to teams and senior clients
  • Ability to use and apply data science or data visualization tools, including R, Tableau, Power BI, and Python
  • Possession of excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
