Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor based in Casa Grande, AZ.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager in developing, managing and leading a world-class maintenance organization for maintaining the Company's long-term competitiveness. The role includes Additionally, the This position requires candidates to demonstrate excellent team building, people management, and leadership skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, including face to face, written, and presentation, and excellent external and internal functional / cross-functional communications skills. This candidate must be a proactive go getter who takes a great deal of pride in their work and treats the business as their own. will collaborate with maintenance staff, production staff, processing staff to align duties with the company's goals and values.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Advance training and abilities within the maintenance staff
  • Oversee/train in electrical troubleshooting
  • Oversee major repairs and service of all production and facility equipment.
  • Project management of new production equipment and improvements
  • Siemens programming and additions to PLC processes
  • Organize service of equipment by outside vendors
  • Planning of all shutdown services to be done by maintenance staff
  • Oversee parts inventory and ordering.
  • Participate and implement in plant safety procedures.
  • Responsible for 24 hour on call and scheduling personnel accordingly
  • Participate in QA improvements.
  • Reduce cost by improving a regimented PM schedule.
  • In-Depth knowledge of processing technologies
  • Coordinate with production all service work on production and process equipment.
  • Assure successful audits in the maintenance area
  • Troubleshoot and repair all failures
  • Work with production to decrease downtime
  • Work with Asst. Manager on all man-power scheduling needs
  • Implement corrective measure with regard to quality improvement.
  • Work with production on all wastewater needs
  • Monitor R/O and DAF systems.
  • Work within budgetary parameters
  • Work to improve production level by improving efficiency levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of three maintenance technicians in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

  • A high school degree is required.
  • A technical Diploma in manufacturing Electrical Field is desired.

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing facility; preferably, food manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Veterans with applicable military maintenance / technical training and 2-3 years' experience are a plus
