Job Description




As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Operator Aero/Defense in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving position, offering an engaging environment where your expertise will contribute to a secure setting for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch center, coordinating with on-site personnel and responding to requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the documentation and communication of incidents, emergencies, and security-related activities as they arise.
  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following location-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and interactions, ensuring information is communicated to the appropriate parties.
  • Support Allied Universal team members and location staff by facilitating smooth information flow and resource deployment during routine operations and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
