As a Security Officer - Refinery Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to service requests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of process areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitors, issuing temporary badges when required, and maintaining access logs per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, access control actions, and incident response, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
