As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while documenting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, waiting rooms, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns to report.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, disorderly conduct, and/or requests for assistance from clinical and administrative teams.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, screening for authorized access, directing visitors, and supporting visitor check-in procedures consistent with site policy.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written reports and logs, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and/or law enforcement when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
