As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and onsite teams, document observations, and respond to needs with a customer-first mindset. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols as appropriate.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical events, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request assistance from property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the commercial property interior and exterior, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, maintenance hazards, and policy violations, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts for resolution.
  • Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and available evidence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
