This is a 100% onsite position in Redmond, WA. It will start as a 5 month engagement and can extend up to 18 months.

Aquent is partnering with a leading technology company at the forefront of innovation, seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Program Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an incredible opportunity to make a tangible impact, driving the evolution of a critical enterprise management tool that empowers administrators globally. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how users monitor, diagnose, and manage their server environments, directly influencing product quality and user experience.

In this impactful role, you will bridge the gap between technical vision and execution, ensuring the successful delivery of key product initiatives. You'll be instrumental in a major front-end upgrade, building a robust automated testing framework, and defining the quality metrics that guide development. Your contributions will directly enhance product stability, performance, and user satisfaction, working alongside both internal engineers and offshore development teams.

Key Responsibilities



  • Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery.
  • Define comprehensive quality metrics for the enterprise management tool.
  • Collect and organize key customer and partner quality expectations.
  • Align quality expectations with updated test automation workflows and the product's Angular update.
  • Write sample tests and ensure effective results collection.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a shared dashboard to visualize test results.
  • Report on the status of the Angular update project.
  • Investigate issues, validate tools, and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Coordinate with offshore developers and internal engineers to drive project execution and validation efforts.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • 5-7 years of Program Management experience within engineering environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with Automated Testing Proficiency. Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • 2+ years of experience with Quality Metrics and Visualization. Strong understanding of software quality metrics and the ability to design dashboards that surface these insights clearly.
  • 2+ years of experience with Environment Setup and Validation. Hands-on ability to configure and validate test environments, install builds, and troubleshoot tooling issues to ensure reliable test execution and data collection.
  • Demonstrated technical hands-on capability beyond pure project management.
  • Ability to install builds, validate environments, and deeply understand testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, quality metrics, and environment setup/validation.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex technical details and proactively validate work.
  • Experience with a standard Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week, including early morning meetings (typically 7-8 AM, occasionally earlier).
  • Capability to install and run product builds locally, validate environments, run automated tests, and access development/test servers as needed.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
  • Background in systems, operating systems, storage, or network environments.
