JobSummary:

Theshipping and receiving positionisresponsible for unloading and loadingproductin an organized andtimelyfashionin order toexecute customer requests.This position will be operated mainly on atowmotor for the shift which requires a high degree of safety.This position willanswer tothe shipping manager and production manager.

Job Duties:

• 
  

  Loading and unloading trucks.

  
  

• 
  

  Conducttowmotor inspections before and after shift and report any issues.

  
  

• 
  

  Putting received materials incorrectlocation.

  
  

• 
  

  Banding and wrapping skids.

  
  

• 
  

  Understand bill of materials (BOM) and other paperwork to ensure specifications are being met for loading procedures.

  
  

• 
  

  Retrieve raw materials for operators.

  
  

• 
  

  Operate a scan gun to retrieve products and take them tocorrectspot.

  
  

• 
  

  Authority to stop and/ormodifywork processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions.

  
  

• 
  

  Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager.

  
  

• 
  

  Perform all other job duties as assigned.

  
  

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• 
  

  Previousexperience withoperatingatowmotor.

  
  

• 
  

  Knowledge of HazMat clean up and safety

  
  

• 
  

  Previousexperience in loading and unloading trucks is preferred

  
  

• 
  

  Time management andproblem-solvingskills.

  
  

• 
  

  Must be a team player andpossessa "can do" attitude.

  
  

• 
  

  Ability tolift upto 50-55 lbs. and sit ontowmotorfor periods of time or walking/standing on concrete.

  
  

• 
  

  Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

  
  

Work Environment:

This position will work in a manufacturing environment where our warehouses arelocated. This position will primarily use a lift truck to complete the essential job duties and will be exposed to machinery thatproducenoise.
