Responsible for overseeing all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities.

Essential Functions

  • Manages facilities in accordance with corporate standards ensuring courteous, professional and transparent properties and facilities services.

  • Maintains and oversees a company's grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional.

  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.

  • Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline/equivalent or in Engineering.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, emergency power systems, building automation systems and/or package handling equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Thorough working knowledge of engineering and architectural drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulics, pneumatics, structural and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of finance and strong computer skills.

Strong basic leadership, management, human relations and communications skills.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full/part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
