As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including verbal de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification as required, directing visitors to the appropriate destination, and supporting visitor management processes.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregularities according to post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports for incidents, patrol activity, and client service interactions, maintaining accurate logs and shift documentation.
• Provide assistance with site order such as guiding foot traffic, supporting lobby and clinic flow, and responding to requests for escort to vehicles when requested.
• Assist with response to medical facility disruptions such as disorderly conduct, unauthorized persons, and property concerns, using approved communication and escalation protocols.
• Maintain a professional presence and appearance, practicing courteous communication and respecting privacy requirements applicable to a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
