As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence throughout transportation locations. This position requires both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license, as you conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transportation facilities and their perimeters, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
• Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert to any unusual conditions or activities within the transportation location and report concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
