As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a financial institution location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to play a key role in protecting people and assets. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, visitors, and law enforcement when required, maintaining clear communication and professionalism.
  • Handle access control procedures, including verifying identification and granting entry as appropriate.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures set forth by Allied Universal, as well as any site-specific requirements at financial institution locations.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that may require the use of armed security-related protocols, following all applicable laws and guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
