What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution facility.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
