Security Officer - Retail Facility Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Facility Patrol Driver in East Stroudsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain visible to provide a welcoming presence for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Collaborate with store staff and/or management to address security-related issues as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
