Job Description We're seeking a Superintendent to oversee large-scale telecommunications and construction projects. This role involves managing project staff, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving projects to successful completion. Ideal candidates have extensive leadership experience and a strong background in telecommunications or construction. What You'll Do * Recruit, hire, train, and manage project-related staff * Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and company objectives * Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives * Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and deadlines * Oversee workload distribution, staffing levels, and job installation progress * Review job cost postings and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting * Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings * Attend facility and construction meetings as the main on-site customer contact * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed * Monitor operational processes and implement improvements for efficiency * Lead safety initiatives and training sessions * Manage tools and truck inventory and maintenance What You Bring * Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience * Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field * Proven ability to define projects, create scopes of work, estimates, and manage tasks to completion * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) * Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents * High school diploma or GED Nice to Have * Experience with OSP and structured cabling projects * Familiarity with telecom tools and troubleshooting Why Apply? * Opportunity to lead a major commercial project in Alabama * Long-term role with potential for advancement as the company grows * Work in a fast-paced environment with consistent hours and possible overtime Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
