We are seeking current medical students interested in Neurosurgery. Job Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: Program Structure Fellows are embedded within the NYU OLAB at NYU Langone, participating in real-world projects under OLAB investigators. Curriculum includes seminars on AI in medicine, ethical and regulatory considerations, algorithm development, data management, and translational research practices. Regular lab meetings, research presentations, and mentorship sessions with faculty and peers. Dedicated Fellow Development Time (e.g., one day per week) for independent learning, career development, or collaborative projects. Mentorship & Learning Environment Mentored by OLABs multidisciplinary team including faculty, postdocs, and senior researchers focusing on AI methodology development, clinical integration, and ethical considerations. Engagement with broader NYU Langone research infrastructure, including access to clinical collaborators, institutional data repositories, AI labs, and seminar offerings. Networking opportunities across AI in medicine, biomedical informatics, and related academic communities. Outcomes & Impact By the end of the fellowship year, fellows will: Have significantly contributed to active AI research projects with potential for clinical translation. Be positioned to integrate AI into future medical training, research, specialty selection, or academic medicine careers. Possess the foundations to author peer-reviewed work, present at conferences, and continue in innovative translational AI roles within healthcare. Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.50 - $18.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
