Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health invites applications for the position of Director Clinical Services. Located in Norfolk Virginia, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is a leading community partner providing acute, residential, and Partial Hospitalization treatment for children and teens exhibiting behavioral and/or mental health concerns. The hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to children, adolescents and their families. Founded in 1986, Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is an 82-bed hospital facility accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). Director of Clinical Services: Position SummaryThe Director of Clinical Services provides direct supervision to all Clinical Services staff. Oversees the development and implementation of the clinical programs across the continuum of care; develops and revises program descriptions, patient/parent handbooks and oversees the clinical services provided in foster care. Reviews policies and procedures and makes recommendations to senior leadership for change. As a member of the management team, the Director of Clinical Services assists in the achievement of organizational objectives regarding patient care, attainment of operational and financial goals and participates in the promotion of services within the community.
